The City of North Charleston announces six finalists for Chief of Police

The City of North Charleston has narrowed down their Chief search to the final six positions from the original start of thirty-four. Two of the finalists are from the department, one is from the City of Charleston, and the remaining three are from around the country. Final in-person interviews will occur Wednesday September 18^th, 2024 in front of a 10 person panel and then the selection for the next Chief of Police will be decided upon by the Mayor.
