A public hearing to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Andre Brown, #271625

The Michigan Parole Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. to consider the possible commutation of sentence for Andre Brown, #271625. The hearing will be conducted via video through Microsoft Teams.

Those planning to access the hearing must complete the online registration form no later than July 23, 2024. Instructions for accessing the public hearing can be found here.

Andre Brown was sentenced to a term of 21 years to 35 years for the crime of Controlled Substance-Deliver 450-999 Grams-Habitual 4th. Andre Brown was sentenced on March 11, 2008, out of Muskegon County.

Crissa D. Blankenburg, Member of the Michigan Parole Board, will conduct the hearing under the provisions of MCLA 791.244 prior to any recommendation for executive clemency by the Parole Board.

When logging into the hearing, your video camera must be turned off and audio muted to eliminate distraction during the hearing.
