Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a bridge and roadway expansion joint repair project will begin next week on Interstate 180 eastbound and westbound between Maynard Street and Faxon Street in the City of Williamsport, Lycoming County.
The week of Monday, November 11, 2024, the contractor, CriLon Corp., will begin repairing expansion joints on I-180 at various locations between Maynard Street and the Faxon Street exit. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM and will include short term ramp closures at the I-180 / Market Street Interchange.
Traffic Impacts
On Monday, November 11, 2024, the contractor will be performing work on I-180 eastbound between Maynard Street (Exit 28) and Market Street (Exit 27). Motorists can expect the left (passing) lane to be restricted where work is being performed.
Traffic updates will be provided when the contractor will begin a new traffic pattern.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
CriLon, Inc. is the prime contractor for this $177,541 bridge and roadway expansion joint improvement project. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed by the end of November 2024.
