The official deadline to apply for FEMA disaster assistance has passed. However, help from FEMA is still at hand for Louisiana renters and homeowners who have damage to their residence from Hurricane Francine. Here are some options:
Missed the FEMA Deadline? You Can Still Apply
If you couldn't apply with FEMA before the deadline and you have damage to your home, you have another 60 days (from the Nov. 18 deadline) to complete late applications for FEMA assistance.
Connect with FEMA to Access all Available Resources
Keep FEMA up to date. Applicants need to inform FEMA of any changes in your circumstances or contact information, including the current status of your insurance settlement. Ask FEMA any questions you may have concerning your recovery.
