***Press Must RSVP to receive call-in details***

On Thursday, July 18 at 4:45pm ET (5:45pm Buenos Aires), members of Congress, led by U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Chair Ben Cardin (D-Md.), will brief members of the media on their visits to Brazil and Argentina, as well as preview their visit to Guatemala where they are scheduled to meet with President Arevalo and members of his cabinet.

The congressional delegation will meet with key government officials across the region to express support for bilateral partnerships, as well as better understand areas of potential increased cooperation. During their trip, delegation members will hold meetings to gain insight into the full scope of diplomatic and security cooperation on countering Antisemitism, combatting climate change, and protecting indigenous communities, as well as to participate in the 30th anniversary commemoration of the terrorist attack on the AMIA (Argentine Israelite Mutual Association) Jewish Center in Argentina.

Please note: This will be an on-the-record audio-only call, and press must RSVP to receive call-in details.
