Road Closure Announcement: Taft Street at N. 35th Avenue

The Broward County School Board has announced a road closure at Taft Street, just west of the signalized intersection at N. 35th Avenue. The closure is necessary for the installation of a new water line for the fire sprinkler system at Hollywood Hills Elementary School.

Closure Details:

• Start Date: Monday, August 5th
• Duration: The work is expected to last for three days.
• Hours: The road will be closed daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Outside of these hours, Taft Street will be reopened to traffic.

Detour Information

An aerial image has been provided to show the designated detour routes for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians. The detour will utilize N. Longfellow Circle for both eastbound and westbound traffic on Taft Street.

Motorists are advised to plan their routes accordingly and allow extra time for travel during the construction period.
