Reform Party Makes Progress Towards Rebuilding its Base of Small Donors

July 5th, 2024

For Immediate Release

Dallas, Texas - The Reform Party of the United States has made progress towards rebuilding its base of small donors. After holding three fundraisers in the past three months, the Reform Party has signed up more individual donors to its cause than at any time since 2003.

"This is going to be a good quarter," said Reform Party Treasurer David Collison, "even before our nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr for President of the United States, the Reform Party was on the path to pulling in money from a record number of small donors".

Doubling down on fundraising, the Reform Party started asking supporters to set up recurring small donations. The recurring amount varies from person to person, but Reform Party Chairman Nicholas Hensley sums up the strategy.

"Money attracts money. The more money that you have, the easier it is to find more. Of course we like large donations, but everyone has different means. We're encouraging people to donate what they can afford. Some people can afford 25, 50 or 100 dollars a month, but others can only donate 1, 2 or 5 dollars a month. Right now we just need to get money flowing, so any amount is good. Once an organization has a good number of individual donors, and a consistent stream of revenue, it becomes much easier for that organization to recruit large donors. Recruiting large donors is the next step in our process."

Hensley volunteered that he gives the party a consistent 33 dollar a month donation, however he donates lump sums for specific projects. Other party supporters and members donate more or less per month.

The Reform Party began the year with a professional fundraiser on staff, after securing the services of Robert Bennett of New York. Rob Bennett's compensation is commission based.
