Planning for the Memphis Trash Pickup Holiday Schedule

The City of Memphis government offices will be closed on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, and Wednesday, December 25th, 2024, in observance of Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The City of Memphis Solid Waste Management will not provide trash collection these days.

If your trash collection day is Monday or Tuesday, your trash will be picked up on Monday, December 23rd, 2024.

If your trash collection is on Wednesday or Thursday, it will be picked up on December 26, 2024.

If Team Waste provides your trash service, the contractor will not pick up trash on Christmas Day. There will be a one-day delay on Thursday, December 26th, 2024, and Friday, December 27th, respectively.

There will be no trash collection on January 1. Collection for Wednesday customers will be on January 2, 2025.
