Rep. Estes Reacts to Shooting at Trump Rally
WASHINGTON - Rep. Ron Estes (R-Kansas) released the following statement after today's shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania.
"Like many across our country, I was shocked by the horrific scene in Pennsylvania. Secret Service and law enforcement acted quickly, and I'm thankful for the men and women who neutralized the shooter, preventing further harm. Susan and I are grateful that President Trump appears to be safe, and are praying for other attendees, including the family of those who may have been injured or killed. There is no place for political violence in the United States."
