Fort Worth Spinks Airport, the City's newest airport, has grown significantly over its 36 years of operation, establishing itself as one of North Texas' premier general aviation facilities. To ensure it meets future aviation demands and continues to drive growth, a master plan is being prepared.
The City Council will consider a resolution to adopt this new master plan for Spinks Airport on Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Why do we need the plan?
The master plan will guide leaders in allocating Aviation Department resources for future airport development.
What's happened so far?
Next steps: If approved by City Council on Aug. 13, the master plan will then be reviewed and approved by the FAA and TxDOT-Aviation.
