Everywhere You Look, UT is Collaborating to Solve Grand Challenges

The University of Tennessee System is seeking dynamic presentations from faculty and staff for the 2025 summit. Share your work, lead discussions, and help shape the future of our state. Teams or individuals are encouraged to apply.

Presentations should focus on one of the three Grand Challenge areas: Strengthening Rural Communities, Overcoming Addiction, or Advancing K-12 Education.

Timeline

• Proposals due Friday, Sept. 13
• Presenters notified in October

Presentations that explore connections among the Grand Challenge areas will receive extra consideration.

The conference planning committee seeks engaging, informative, and research-based sessions. The committee will review and approve all presenter applications.

Presentations do not need to be tied to a Grand Challenges grant. Teams that have been awarded grants encouraged to apply.
