2025 Local Public Agency (LPA) Advisory Committee Application

Dear Local Program Partner:

Missouri's Local Program provides federal funding to cities and counties for improvements to roads, bridges, air quality, congestion, and more. MoDOT is reaching out to planning partners, consultants, cities, and counties across Missouri asking them to partner with MoDOT in an advisory capacity to continue improving Missouri's Local Program. This notice requests applications from those interested in serving on the LPA Advisory Committee.

Over the past several years, the LPA Advisory Committee has assisted MoDOT with policy decisions on distribution of funds, use of local forces, consultant selection, MoDOT review time, construction inspection, invoice implementation, and many other important topics related to Missouri's Local Program. The current list of committee membersis attached with the term of their service. Thank you to those who have served and are currently serving. MoDOT is filling five (5) positions on the LPA Advisory Committee. Members will serve a three-year term beginning in January 2025.

MoDOT will select new Advisory Committee members based on the qualifications of the candidate, not the experience or geographic location of the previous members. All members of the Advisory Committee are expected to actively participate in quarterly meetings and respond to email requests throughout the year. Members have the opportunity to contribute to the development of policies, improve communication, and influence the direction of Missouri's Local Program.
