Senator Murray Statement on Menendez Guilty Verdict

(Washington, DC) - Today, U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), President Pro Tempore of the United States Senate, issued the following statement:

"Nearly a year ago, I called on Senator Menendez to resign-now that he's been found guilty on all counts, I strongly reiterate my call for him to step down. No one is above the law-it's pretty straightforward. Now if only my Republican colleagues would apply the same standards to the convicted felon who is running for President of the United States as their nominee."
