Menifee Street Project and Construction Updates - Week of October 7, 2024

The City has project and construction updates to share with the community.

Holland Road Overpass - City Capital Improvement Project

The City is actively performing work related to the Holland Road Overpass project. Holland Road between Hanover Lane and Antelope Road remains closed. During the week of Monday, October 7, there will be nighttime northbound and southbound I-215 Freeway alternating lane closures from Scott Road to Newport Road. Expected dates and times are listed below:

Monday, October 7 - Thursday, October 10

• Northbound I-215: Alternating Lane Closures (9 p.m. - 5 a.m.)

• Southbound I-215: Alternating Lane Closures (9 p.m. - 4 a.m.)

COMPLETED - Holland Road and Hanover Lane - Street Improvements by Del Oro Apartments

The Del Oro Apartments project street improvements on Holland Road and Hanover Lane have been completed. Temporary traffic control will be in place until the opening of Holland Road Overpass. Motorists should anticipate delays until the end of October.

COMPLETED - Holland Road/Haun Road - Eastern Municipal Water District (EMWD) Water Improvements

EMWD has completed work on water improvements on Holland and Haun Roads. All lanes and the Paloma Wash Trail on the west side between Holland Road and La Piedra Road are now open.

Bradley Road - Richmond American Underground Utilities

Richmond American has completed work on Bradley Road installing underground utilities. Street improvements and widening work will begin on Monday, October 7, and continue through early November. Temporary full-time traffic control will be in place from the project boundary to Newport Road. Lane closures remain in place and flaggers will be present as needed. Work is expected to occur intermittently through November 2024.
