SGMC Health Hosts 3rd Annual Brunch for Women’s Health

Attendees from the 2023 Girls Just Wanna Have Brunch event

SGMC Health is excited to host the 3rd annual "Girls Just Wanna Have Brunch", a women's health event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 5th, at The McKey in Downtown Valdosta.

The popular brunch promises to be an enjoyable experience, featuring mimosas, a waffle bar, and a photo station where guests can capture memories with friends. Each attendee will also receive a special gift to take home as a token of appreciation.

All proceeds from Girls Just Wanna Have Brunch will go towards advancing women's health through SGMC Health's educational outreach programs and screenings. These initiatives are designed to promote early detection, prevention, and education, which are vital in the fight against breast cancer.

"We are excited to continue the tradition of our brunch and support the women in our communities," said Hilary Gibbs, Vice President and Chief Development Officer. "This event is not only a celebration but also a meaningful way to raise funds that will directly impact women's health and well-being."

Sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals or businesses who are interested in supporting this vital cause.
