On Thursday, July 25, 2024, at approximately 1:21 P.M., Pueblo Police officers responded to the south bound lanes of I-25 at Highway 50 (Mile Marker 101) in regard to a serious traffic accident involving a truck vs motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle later succumbed to their injuries. The Pueblo Police Department Traffic Division was called to investigate the accident. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in this accident.

The identity of the deceased will be released by the Pueblo County Coroner after appropriate notifications are made. The investigation is ongoing.
