This December, the Black & White House Museum invites families to embrace the festive magic and enjoy a fun and enchanting time with Santa.
A consultation has been launched today offering an opportunity for people to tell us what they value most about their local library, share where improvements can be made and suggest fresh ideas for the future.
Councillor Harry Bramer, Cabinet Member for Community Services and Assets said:
""Herefordshire Council is dedicated to maintaining and enhancing library services as we recognise their vital role in supporting local communities.
"We are making a significant investment in the new Hereford Library and Learning Centre which is set to open in the historic Shirehall building in autumn 2026. This consultation is a chance for local people to tell us what they love about their local library and what they would like the library service in their community to look like in the future."
The consultation will run until 30 December 2024, with both an online survey and paper copies available at all libraries.
We will use the feedback we receive to help us to develop a new library strategy for Herefordshire that captures our vision for the next five years. We aim to have this ready in summer 2025.
For more information and to take part in the consultation, please visit your local library or complete the survey online.
