UW Students Can Get Creative At ‘Wicked Workshops’ Oct. 15 and 29

University of Wyoming undergraduate and graduate students will have an opportunity to create fun Halloween decorations during "Wicked Workshop: Make Halloween Décor" events from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, and Tuesday, Oct. 29.

The events will take place in the Make.IT makerspace, located in the Information Technology Building atrium, across from the residence halls. Registration is required, as only 20 seats are available for each event. To register, go here. Snacks will be served.

Students are encouraged to dive into spooky, hands-on projects by exploring everything the makerspace has to offer, including 3D printing; laser cutting; vinyl cutting for decals and heat press designs; full-color die-cut stickers; and desktop publishing tools, including printers, cutters and laminators. The makerspace also has a huge craft closet filled with supplies, games and more.
