County Encourages Residents to Use Their Power to “Vote for it”

The last day to register to vote for the November 5, 2024 election is October 21, 2024.

All California active voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot for the November 5, 2024, Presidential General Election. The county will begin mailing ballots no later than October 7th.

In addition to the nationwide and statewide items, Bellflower's ballots will also include:
Council District 1 - Short term of two years
Council Districts 2 & 4 - Full term of 4-years
Measure B, Bellflower's Local Charter City Measure, will also appear on the ballot

Shall the Bellflower City Charter to establish Bellflower as a charter city, which would give Bellflower more authority over city affairs and local laws to make sure they are tailored to the specific needs of the City; give the City more local control in determining land use; reduce the influence of outside agencies, including the State of California; and would require all changes to the charter be approved by voters, be approved?
