MomentMarketers are practitioners, brand leaders, and operations professionals who strive to create these seamless and exceptional customer experiences. They use data and AI to deliver great campaigns, elevate customer engagement, and help their companies grow. They're eager to learn about new technology, build their careers, and share their expertise with others. Simply put, they're pretty much every marketer today.

Our MomentMarketer program brings these professionals together in a single community. I'd like to show the power of community by sharing how my career has evolved. I started as a social media manager in Melbourne, Australia, learning the ropes of digital engagement from the ground up. Later, I managed a variety of accounts at an advertising agency.

Then I found an opportunity in the U.S. with Salesforce as a marketing consultant. I helped some of our largest customers use technology to elevate their marketing strategies. I then moved into product marketing, working on everything from content strategies and digital campaigns to events, branding, analytics, and go-to-market initiatives.

Even though I studied marketing in school, I quickly learned that formal education would only take me so far. The qualities I needed to become a successful marketer weren't taught in textbooks and classes. This education came in meeting rooms, on calls, at video shoots, on community boards, and at marketing events. It came from people in my networks and communities. I learned more from my colleagues and our customers than I ever did in a classroom. Plus, I got hands-on experience in jobs where I could experiment and make mistakes.

The world of marketing moves fast. Consumer behaviors shift with technological changes, new channels appear, and innovations in data and AI constantly redefine how we interact with consumers. Keeping pace with these changes is one of the greatest challenges for marketers today. To be successful, you have to admit and accept that you don't always have the answers.

To truly succeed across the marketing industry - elevating your company, the customer experience, and your personal brand - you can't go it alone. You need a community to lean on.

That's why I'm excited about our MomentMarketer relaunch. This is a community where anyone in any marketing role can come to learn, meet like-minded marketers, and continuously move forward.
