Rogers State University's Office of Student Affairs will kick off its annual 'Thanks-For-Giving' Food Drive next week to benefit those in need during the Thanksgiving season.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 11, donations of nonperishable and canned Thanksgiving food items will be accepted at the Student Affairs office on the second floor of the Dr. Carolyn Taylor Center on RSU's Claremore campus.
Recommended items include canned vegetables, box stuffing, pumpkin pie filling, cranberry sauce, cornbread mix, broth or stock, canned yams, canned soup or stew, mashed potatoes, canned gravy, mac and cheese, green beans and more.
Donations will be accepted through Friday, Nov. 22, at which time, all donated items will be collected and used to benefit families in need in Claremore and the surrounding communities.
Rogers State University's Office of Student Affairs is comprised of numerous opportunities, programs and services designed to support the educational experience for RSU students.
