The Reciprocal Arts of Speaking and Listening, Oct. 17

Graduate School Dean Mary Jo Finney, Ph.D., is hosting an even for faculty, Oct. 17. Effective communication is one of UAA's core competencies and, as such, speaking and listening are essential skills to cultivate. This session focuses on methods for systematically advancing students' comfort and skill speaking while raising their awareness of the power of listening.
