City Launches Spanish Translation Services for 311 Calls
SAVANNAH - The City of Savannah has launched a new Spanish translation service through LanguageLine Solutions for customers calling the 311 help line, providing real-time language assistance for residents and visitors.
Spanish-speaking callers can now select option two from the main menu to be connected with an interpreter from LanguageLine Solutions who will translate their service request needs to a City Customer Service Representative.
The City's 311 service is a help line for residents and visitors to request service from the City and receive information related to government operations. Customer Service Representatives are available to assist with non-emergency City matters. Callers should dial 911 for emergencies.
Residents and visitors can call 311 or 912-651-6565 at any time to submit a request for city services. Calls are answered by a 311 Customer Service Representative Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Additionally, residents and visitors are encouraged to submit requests online at savannahga.gov by selecting "311 Submit a Request" or by downloading the SAV311 Mobile App.
