Notice: Francis Street Beach Improvement Project Testing

On Thursday, November 7, and Friday, November 8, 2024, soil boring will be conducted to collect samples for the Francis Street Beach Improvement Project. Five holes will be drilled on Town and Land Bank property to assess soil properties, groundwater levels, and percolation rates, providing data for engineering and stormwater management plans.

• Dig Safe will mark site utilities before work begins.
• No road closures will occur, but please expect some noise during work hours.
• The boring at the former Artist Colony site (B-05) will be converted into a groundwater monitoring well.
