New Brunswick Honors its Veterans with Parade and Ceremony



NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (November 9, 2024) - In a heartwarming tribute to our nation's heroes, the City of New Brunswick, Borough of Highland Park and the Raritan Valley Veterans Alliance will join hands to host the annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Monday.

This cherished tradition is a solemn recognition of the extraordinary men and women who have served our country with unwavering dedication.

The parade and ceremony are an invitation for all to join in celebrating these courageous individuals who have worn dog tags and combat boots in the service of a grateful nation.

The event begins Monday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m. at the iconic Doughboy Monument at Veterans Memorial Park on Raritan Avenue in Highland Park. The parade heads down Route 27 to Monument Square Park, 2 Livingston Avenue, where a ceremony will be held. In this downtown park, New Brunswick residents will reflect on the profound sacrifices made by our veterans and offer our deepest gratitude for all who served.
