ACE Foreign Trade Zone CATAIR Updated

In a Cargo Systems Messaging Service (CSMS) bulletin published on August 9, 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced an updated version of the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Admission CBP and Trade Automated Interface Requirements (CATAIR).

These changes will "enforce existing requirements that brokers/filers provide a valid FIRMS code when arriving an in-bond" for non-air modes of transportation.

These updates went into ACE production on August 10, 2024.
