Alen Simonyan Receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Armenia Serenade Gamil

On September 23, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Armenia Serenade Gamil. Welcoming the Ambassador, the RA NA President highlighted the effective cooperation and the deepening of ties between the legislative bodies of Armenia and Egypt. Alen Simonyan also stressed the role of the Armenian community in Egypt as a bridge of friendship between the two countries and peoples.

In her turn the Ambassador thanked the RA NA President for warm reception and underscored the importance of continuity of the Armenian-Egyptian centuries-old friendly and high level relations.

The interlocutors also discussed the regional developments, the issue regarding the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agenda and other issues of bilateral interest.
