SIDNEY (Tuesday, November 19, 2024) - The Ohio Department of Transportation District 7 is seeking public comments regarding the following projects:

MIA-Culvert Repairs, PID 116494 - ODOT proposes to replace three culvert systems on State Route 571 in Monroe and Union Townships, Miami County and State Route 718 in Concord Township, Miami County. A portion of State Route 571 will also be resurfaced. At the MIA-571-01.62 location, construction is expected to occur in Spring or Summer 2025 and will be completed by ODOT County forces. The remaining work is expected to be undertaken by a contractor in Summer 2026.

MOT-Salem Avenue Reconstruction Phase 5, PID 116961 - The City of Dayton proposes to reconstruct Salem Avenue from Emerson Avenue to Elsemere Avenue. The project is necessary to address deteriorated roadway infrastructure and improve pedestrian access. Under the project, Dayton will reconstruct the roadway with new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, ADA curb ramps, catch basins, and street lights. The project is expected to start in Spring 2027.
