Brookdale prepares for Hurricane Milton

Weather forecasts are predicting a hurricane forming in the Gulf of Mexico in the coming days. It is important to note - storm tracks can, and often do, change. They only show the probable path, not the definite path. We want to assure you that we are taking every precaution to help ensure the safety and well-being of your loved one.

Out of an abundance of caution, we are preparing to relocate some residents temporarily. Residents will be relocated to either a sister Brookdale community or to a hotel.

Our team has been actively monitoring the situation and we have emergency plans in place. Teams are preparing emergency supplies of food, water, medications, and oxygen. We are taking preparatory measures to secure our communities and provide additional support as needed. Our priority is for residents to be comfortable and well cared for throughout this period.
