Health Department Community Day - Sat. Aug. 10

The Whiteside County Health Department and Community Health Clinic is hosting a Community Day, August 10th from 9am until 1pm in celebration of National Health Center Week.

Activities will be located in the North Parking Lot located off of the Avenue G Bridge and include a bounce house, backyard Jenga, face painting, tours of the WCHD Mobile Unit, CGH Ambulance and Rock Falls Police car. Complementary hot dogs, chips and water will be available while supplies last. Finally, there will be free haircuts offered from 9am until 11:15am for first come first serve.

National Health Center week aims to increase awareness of and celebrate our nation's Community Health Centers, staff, board members and supporters that make it possible to provide quality, comprehensive healthcare services to more than 31.5 million patients across nearly 15,000 communities each year.
