Please join me in recognizing Jacqueline "Jacque" Meyer, executive assistant to the President, as the "Pride of the Lions" for the month of October! Jacque joined the Mount on February 24, 2020, a few weeks before the Pandemic hit its stride and forced all of us to rethink everything we were doing, operationally.
A graduate of the Mount with a degree in Liberal Arts, Jacque acclimated quickly to the MSJ culture and began revealing the discipline, innovation, and business acumen that have made her an indispensable element of the operations in the Office of the President. In addition, Jacque has, on a consistent basis, extended herself to support efforts across the University.
Early during her tenure at the Mount, she collaborated with Lisa Tinsley and Chrissy May to create the "MSJ Administrative Professionals for Excellence Group" to provide opportunities for professional development for Administrative Assistants across the University. Since the Fall of 2021, she has served as a member of the CRSA for the Staff Assembly, serving as the Vice Chairperson, currently. Of course, whenever the President's Office hosts any event or activity for the University, Jacque is the moving force behind the execution; she is simply a remarkable asset to the University.
Finally, over the past two years, particularly during October, Jacque has extenced herself and her resources to the Campus Community via hosting Board members and other VIPs at MSJ homecoming games.
Please join me in thanking Jacque Meyer for her tremendous service to the University--and congratulating her on the well-earned recognition as the "Pride of the Lions" for the month of October!
Sincerely,
H. James Williams, Ph.D.
President
