H.E. Dr. Chea Serey, Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC), co-chaired the meeting of 'Working Group in Banking and Financial Sector (Group Ngor) of the Government-Private Sector Forum (GPS-F), with Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC), who was the co-chair and represented the private sector, on August 13, 2024 at the National Bank of Cambodia.

The meeting was attended by approximately 110 participants who representatives of the government ministries-institutions, the Association of Banks in Cambodia (ABC), the Cambodian Microfinance Association (CMA) as well as banks and financial institutions. The meeting aims to review the progress of the implementation of the package of comprehensive measures that were set at the 19th GPS-F and to discuss responses to some challenges that have faced the private sector to maintain the stability of the banking sector that spur the economic growth sustainably.
