Congratulations to newly trained specialists at SGL Carbon

Nine talented young professionals completed their vocational training at SGL Carbon in Meitingen from the beginning of June to mid-July, achieving an overall grade point average of 2.2. The young skilled workers were trained as cutting machine operators, electronics technicians and machine and plant operators.

In addition, two other employees have completed their IHK qualification as machine and plant operators in the last 6 months in accordance with the Qualification and Opportunities Act.

At the traditional graduation ceremony, site manager Alexander Miehling, HR manager Angelika Lippert, BSCCB HR manager Andreas Sedlmayr and the trainers congratulated the junior staff on their remarkable success and emphasized the importance of the new skilled workers for the company.

Head of Training Uwe Moderer praised the outstanding achievements and sent his congratulations as a representative of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). Birgit Burkert congratulated them on behalf of the works council.
