S.T.A.R. Season is Here

S.T.A.R. (Sad Trees Along the Road) season has officially begun. Residents bring whimsy and holiday cheer by decorating trees along public roads. If you plan to participate this year, please remember to follow these rules:

Choose a tree in a safe location and be cautious when crossing streets.

Avoid roads managed by TxDOT, which are FM 407 and FM 2499.

If the tree is on private property, ask permission before you decorate.

Follow all HOA rules and regulations.

Use decorations that are not a danger to wildlife, and make sure they are attached securely to the tree.

Clean up all your decorations by Wednesday, Jan. 3.
