Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) invites residents to provide input on the proposed Lincoln Area Bridges Preventative Maintenance Project. Comments will be accepted through December 10.
Proposed bridge work includes deck patching and overlays, joint replacement, approach slab repairs, rail repairs, and sidewalk repairs. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2027 and be completed by winter 2027.
Project locations include:
Bridge traffic would continue during the projects, with lane closures controlled by traffic control devices and signs. Full closures will be required to accommodate work on the Penny Bridges and for work on other bridge locations as necessary.
