DASH Digest – Issue 4

Hello, Everyone!

We are excited to share the fourth issue of the DASH Digest as we continue our transition to DASH and work towards our go-live in January 2025! In case you missed our last issue, please review the Important DASH Update and Timeline post for more information about our revised schedule.

We have continued to develop and update resources on the Friends of DASH website to help prepare you for DASH and to share information about upcoming project activities. This includes our Hub Central page, which has two new hubs available (with more to come!), since we sent out our last DASH Digest issue:

  1. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)/Chart of Accounts (COA) Hub: Includes ERP/COA lingo with definitions of key finance terms; ERP Business Process Overviews (BPOs) that show how business processes are performed in DASH; and information on the Chart of Accounts, the accounting structure in DASH.
  2. Employee Self-Service (ESS)/Manager Self-Service (MSS) Hub: Provides an overview of the benefits and processes of the self-service capabilities available in DASH for employees and supervisors.

With training scheduled to begin in early fall, you can also expect updates to the Training Hub to help you plan for the different types of training that will be available. In the meantime, please save the dates for the upcoming DASH Town Halls! The next one is scheduled for August 8 at 3:00 PM, Eastern Time. Details on how to join will be available on the Friends of DASH website soon. The next DASH Office Hours is scheduled for Monday, August 19 at 2:00 PM, Eastern Time. Click here to register!

Prior to attending the next Town Hall, we invite and remind you to take advantage of other existing resources, including:

  1. DASH Office Hour Recordings: You can review recordings from previous DASH Office Hours here in K@TE. Office Hours will resume in August.
  2. DASH Town Hall Recordings: Watch or review a DASH Town Hall recording on the Friends of DASH website.
  3. Oracle University: Visit the Free MyLearn Oracle University page to learn more and find targeted learning options based on your interests. These trainings are not designed to be "deep dives," but they can serve to give you an impression of what the Oracle cloud environment looks like.
  4. Dose of DASH Podcasts: Listen to previous podcast episodes to gain project insights, brought to you by project leadership and key stakeholders across the UT System!
  5. Resource Hub: Explore the Resource Hub on the Friends of DASH site for DASH lingo, a knowledge base with questions and answers, and videos on key DASH topics.

Thank you for your continued engagement! We look forward to progressing towards go-live with your support.
