Newly Founded Law Student Organization Sends Four Students to Regional Conference

The four law students - first-year Tia Vlasman and third-years Alec Propokowich, Tyler Lohr and Jenna Weir-Riedel - had the opportunity to learn about emerging trends in legal research, bankruptcy law, business and more from U.S Trustees, bankruptcy judges and financial advisors, among other legal experts

"Networking at these professional events is important for getting students excited about debtor-creditor law and comfortable with networking," said Weir-Riedel, president of the Debtor-Creditor Club.

Assistant Professor of Law Robert Miller, J.D., also attended the conference and presented on the intersection of insurance and bankruptcy.
