Building Permits: Electronic Plan Checks Only Starting October 1

Beginning October 1, 2024, the City of Moorpark's Community Development Department will only accept electronic plan checks for all Building and Safety submittals. Physical plans will no longer be accepted.

Plan checks will be accepted via the City of Moorpark Self-Help Online Portal (www.moorparkca.gov/SHOP), via email, or via flash drive. Physical plans 11"x17" or smaller can be manually scanned at the front counter and accepted for plan check on a case-by-case basis.
