Megan Thayer Joins Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as Vice President, Business Development Officer

Manchester, New Hampshire (August 29, 2024) - Megan Thayer has joined Bar Harbor Bank & Trust as Vice President, Business Development Officer. In this role, she will bring years of knowledge to network and develop relationships with New Hampshire individuals and businesses and provide them with professional financial guidance as well as a wide range of banking services and support.

Megan has more than 20 years of finance, real estate, and community engagement experience. She began her career in banking in 2004 as a Manager in Training Program Developer at Banknorth Massachusetts, which was later acquired by TD. During her more than ten years at TD Bank, Megan took on roles of increasing leadership responsibilities including Fee Income Product Manager and Regional Consumer Lender. Prior to joining Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, she was an Associate Director of Asset Management for AAM15 Management, LLC.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colby-Sawyer College.

Megan is an active volunteer within her communities. She recently served as a Director and the Air Show Committee Chair for the New Hampshire Military Assistance Foundation. She has also served on Leadership Institute and Young Professional Boards in a multitude of roles.

Megan and her partner, who currently serves in the U.S. Air Force, live in Durham, New Hampshire, with her ten-year-old son.
