The City of Grand Junction 2025 Calendar will arrive in time for the holidays. The calendars are expected to begin arriving in city residents' mailboxes next week. Calendars are also available for pick up at city offices.
This year, more than 700 photographs were submitted for consideration in the calendar, which highlights the natural beauty of the Grand Junction. The calendar includes a letter from Mayor Herman, a review of the city's 2024 projects and accomplishments, a directory of city services, financial information, a list of Boards and Commissions and their meeting dates as well as dates for City Council meetings, trash and recycling delays, and holiday closures for city offices.
The photographs included in the calendar undergo a rigorous selection process, with the Arts and Culture Commission making the final determinations. Of the more than 700 submissions, 19 were selected to appear in the 2025 calendar.
More than 50,000 copies of the calendar are mailed to city residents and copies are also available to be picked up at City Hall 250 N. 5th St., at the Utilities Office at 910 Main St., the GJ Police and Fire Departments at 555 or 625 Ute Avenue, the Parks and Recreation office at 1340 Gunnison Ave., and the Visitors Center at 740 Horizon Drive.
