City of Roanoke Independence Day Schedule

City offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4 and Friday, July 5, 2024, for the Independence Day holiday.

As a result of office closures, the following schedule will be in effect for collection of trash, bulk, brush and A WEEK single-stream recycling during that week.

All Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday residential/commercial solid waste collection (including, recycling, bulk, and brush) will be on a normal schedule.
Thursday's scheduled collections will be on a one-day delay:

Monday Routes - Trash, A WEEK single-stream recycling, bulk and brush will be collected on Monday as normal,

Tuesday Routes - Trash, A WEEK single-stream recycling, bulk and brush will be collected on Tuesday as normal,

Wednesday Routes - Trash, A WEEK single-stream recycling, bulk and brush will be collected on Wednesday as normal,

Thursday Routes - Trash, A WEEK single-stream recycling, bulk and brush will be collected on Friday. No collection services on Thursday.
