The Department of Licenses and Inspections is excited to announce that full Notice of Violation (NOV) Reports are now available for direct download from the Property History Lookup tool on the L&I website and via Atlas.phila.gov. This new feature allows easy access to detailed information on code enforcement actions for properties across Philadelphia.
To access the report via Atlas, simply search for a property and click on the Violation ID under the "Licenses and Inspections" tab. You can download the complete Notice of Violation Report by clicking on it in the Documents section.
We've received valuable feedback highlighting the importance of making this data publicly available, which benefits all stakeholders involved. Previously, we offered limited detail on code enforcement actions, but now, the NOV Report gives interested parties comprehensive information about the nature of the violation.
This update reflects L&I's commitment to making public information easily accessible, increasing accountability for both property owners and City government, and empowering tenants, prospective buyers, and the community.
The full report benefits responsible parties who may not have received or misplaced the original notice, ensuring they have full transparency into their properties' status.
We look forward to seeing the positive impact of making this data publicly available.
