Beginning Monday, November 4, 2024, regular Nampa City Council meetings will begin at 5:00 p.m., rather than 5:30 p.m. The time has been slightly modified so that agency and commission reports, staff communication and new business items can be heard before public hearings begin at 6:00 p.m. (or as soon after 6:00 pm as each matter may be heard).
Just ahead of public hearings, proclamations will be read, if any, and the public forum will be held. The public forum is where Nampa residents wishing to speak on non-agenda items (five-person limit) can share for up to three-minutes, per speaker. Comments related to zoning and land use matters may only be made during properly noticed public hearings.
Nampa City Council regular meetings are held the first and third Monday of each month; if that Monday falls on a holiday, the meeting is held on the following day (Tuesday).
