Broome County Highway Work Planned for Week of 8/5

(BROOME COUNTY, NY) -The following work is scheduled on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, August 5^th.

• Patching continues on Cherry Valley Hill Road
• Paving prep continues on Kattelville Road
• Manhole repairs on Oakdale Road
• Crossroad culvert replacement on Knapp Road
• Milling and paving on Prospect Street (from Glenwood Road to Airport Road) and Downs Avenue (from the City of Binghamton line to Airport Road) on Wednesday, 8/7
• Ditching on Oquaga Lake Road, Old Route 17, Knapp Road & East Maine Road
• Closed drainage work on the Route 26 end of Bunn Hill Road
• Guide rail repairs on Colesville Road & Bevier Street
• Culvert pipe work on Stratmill Road & Oquaga Lake Road
• Surface treatment work on Old State Road
• Striping to county and town roadways
• Mowing roadside on several county roads
