City of Concord to Host Annual Health Expo Oct. 3 at Senior Center

The City of Concord will host its annual Health Expo, a free community event, on Thursday, October 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Concord Senior Center (2727 Parkside Cir.). This event is free and open to the public, and it promises to provide valuable resources to seniors, families, and caregivers.

The Health Expo brings together an array of health and wellness resources, providing attendees with free health screenings, expert advice, and information on a variety of topics, including Medicare, transportation, and assisted living options.

From blood pressure checks to flu shots, participants will have the opportunity to access a wide range of health services in one convenient location.

In addition to health screenings, the Expo will feature information booths staffed by local healthcare providers, nonprofits, and community organizations. Attendees can learn about services available in the Concord area, explore options for healthy living, and receive practical tips for maintaining physical and mental well-being.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for our community members to come together and access crucial health resources," said Mayor Edi Birsan. "Our goal is to promote wellness and provide valuable support for seniors, families, and caregivers in a welcoming environment."

The Health Expo is part of the City of Concord's ongoing commitment to fostering a healthy and vibrant community. Whether you are seeking information on managing a chronic condition, exploring options for elder care, or simply looking to improve your overall health, the Expo offers something for everyone.
