Local Shred Event a Success

This weekend dozens of northwest Illinois residents attended House Minority Leader Tony McCombie's free paper shredding event. The event was hosted for area residents to safely and securely discard of any paper documents, to protect any personal information.

Leader McCombie held the event in Freeport alongside State Representative John M. Cabello (R-Machesney Park) and the Stephenson County Sheriff's Department.

This has been an annual event for the lawmakers, due to the continual high demand. Leader McCombie is grateful for another great turnout at this year's event and looks forward to hosting again next year.
