On September 24, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhanisyan had a meeting with Carles Enseñat Reig, the Síndic General of the General Council of the Principality of Andorra, who was in Armenia on an official visit.

The interlocutors discussed current relations and further prospects of cooperation between Armenia and Andorra. The activation of high-level mutual visits and contacts was emphasized.

Views on the exchange of expertise and bilateral cooperation in information technology, digital management, trade and economy, tourism and other sectors were shared.

The steps undertaken by Armenia towards establishing peace in the South Caucasus were touched upon. Paruyr Hovhannisyan briefed his counterpart on the details of the process of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, reiterating the commitment of the Armenian side to establish stability in the South Caucasus and highlighting the importance of avoiding artificial impediments on the path to concluding the peace treaty and signing it in the shortest time frame.

A number of other international and regional issues were also discussed at the meeting.
