Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure to implement 20 programmes and 113 measures in 2025
The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan presented the Ministry's plans for 2025 and the financial resources intended for them at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees on Economic and Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs convened on November 4.
Next year, the Ministry will implement 20 programmes and 113 measures, for which 356.3 billion AMD is planned to be allocated. 289.1 billion AMD is planned for expenditure. 98 billion AMD will be allocated to the transport sector, 74 billion AMD to the energy sector, 42.2 billion AMD to the water sector, and 154.6 billion AMD - to the territorial administration sector.
According to the Minister, the main part of the funds directed to the transport sector, 97.2 billion AMD, is allocated to the improvement of the road network. AMD 84.2 billion is intended for capital works.
In 2025, about 51 billion AMD is planned for the overhaul of roads, and 2.5 billion AMD is planned for the overhaul or repairs of 15 transport facilities.
Next year, it is planned to allocate 578 million AMD to the aviation sector, which is mainly the maintenance and training costs of Civil Aviation.
231 million AMD is planned for the railway in 2025, which is the compensation of 30% of the damage caused by the South Caucasian Railway last year.
Allocations for the energy sector will amount to 74 billion AMD, of which 70 billion AMD is capital expenditures. The major project is the power system development project, to which the main part of the allocation is directed.
In the field of state property management, income from the sale of property is planned in the amount of 15 billion AMD, and in the amount of 2.5 billion AMD is planned for the maintenance, accounting and other services of the committee and subordinate bodies.
The Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan also answered the MPs' questions, which, in particular, related to the condition of the roads as a result of the catastrophic flood in Luri and Tavush regions, the completion of the North-South road, civil aviation works, the nuclear power plant, road repair, overhaul and maintenance.
