UNM Bookstores hosts annual Holiday Sales Event on Dec. 6

The University of New Mexico Bookstores are bringing festive cheer to campus this holiday season with its annual Holiday Sales Event on Friday, Dec. 6. During this special day, UNM students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to take advantage of exclusive holiday discounts, seasonal festivities and live performances.

Festive Fun
In addition to these shopping deals, guests can enjoy free holiday snacks by UNM Food available throughout the day. A free gift-wrapping station will also be set up to help customers prepare their presents for the season.

Live Performances - the celebration will feature two incredible live performances:

• Something Major: UNM's premier a cappella group, performing from 12-1 p.m.
• The New Mexico Women's Chorus: A women's chorus committed to providing opportunities for women and gender-fluid individuals to create music together, performing from 5-6 p.m.

At 6 p.m., the UNM community will then gather in front of the Central Campus Bookstore for the "Hanging of the Greens" ceremony, a beloved tradition that marks the start of the holiday season on campus.
