Drones for First Responders

Dates: July 29 through Aug. 1. Times: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Location: Government Center Annex (Fayette County).

Description:

This is a 32-hour course to prepare first responders to establish or enhance a UAS program and site for the FAA Part 107 remote pilot exam. Topics include laws and regulations, drone teams and standard operating procedures, airspace and sectional charts, public safeety exceptions and best practices, case studies and analysis. The cost is $500 per person.
